If you’ve watched The Secret or know anything about manifesting things you desire, you would have heard of Visualization.
So, you imagine something you want, emitting the frequency of it and then the universe responds. It is a powerful & common tool in manifesting, but how exactly can you use it to manifest the body you want?
From personal success with this, I’m going to break down how to best use your imagination to change your body, why it works so well & how to do it.
Your cells will match the image you hold in your mind
This statement is true and will be helpful to you if you can remind yourself of it regularly. When you are imagining yourself with the body you desire, in that moment there is change happening on a cellular level. Abraham Hicks speaks often and in depth on this subject, as do many other teachers. The cells of your body are intelligent and capable, and when you allow it, you allow them to create the change you desire.
When you practice seeing and feeling that dream body in your mind consistently, you are also allowing your cells to BECOME that.
Even if you taking action toward your desire, for example; exercising for fitness – visualization will greatly enhance your results and speed things up. Think of it as enormous leverage. Do not get discouraged if you don’t see physical results straight away, change happens first on a vibrational level! And if you can take more pleasure in the imagery in your mind, your manifested version will be fast on its heels.
Take note of your emotion
Really get to know your emotional guidance.
When you feel positive emotion, you are in alignment and moving toward what you want. When you feel negative emotion, you are not moving toward what you want.
Now how does emotion apply to visualization?
If you are imagining your ideal body whilst feeling less than good emotion, you are not allowing the improvements you want. This also applies for when you try to force yourself to picture your desired outcome, even though you don’t quite feel like it, or it feels like a bit of a stretch.
That’s okay. It’s all about practice.
Aim to visualize when you already feeling good, because THEN you are using the method of visualization as it is supposed to be used. There is no power in the visual imagery if the positive emotion is lacking – Remember that!
Build your Visual muscle
If you are not accustomed or really familiar with using your imagination like this, it can take a little getting used to. Like everything, it takes a little practice – especially if it is a strange concept to you right now.
So, where do you begin?
Start with short visualizations whenever you feel at your best emotionally. Visualize for 60 seconds or a few minutes to begin with.
Over time, you will learn what works best for you, what amount of time you want to visualize, etc.
Now, here’s the tricky part. In the beginning, or if this is a tricky subject for you to focus on whilst still feeling good – you can visualize by matching the emotion of the desire.
What does this mean?
If picturing your ideal body is really hard or just makes you feel lack or any negative emotion… The best thing to do is to not get too specific. Visualize any type of imagery/scene that creates the same emotions you would feel if you had the body you desired. If this desire would make you feel free and happy – then find an easier image that makes you feel that same way. This still allows your bodily desires to manifest because you are matching the frequency of it! For example; Walking on the beach, your favourite holiday destination, etc. Your work will be to find your best feeling scenes/imagery to return to.
In time, you will find you can visualize specifically – even on subjects that once made you feel negative emotion. And of course, see results.
I have experienced effortless results using visualization for my body, and for my life. I have lost weight in specific areas of my body without taking any action at all, except for the visual imagining of it – and the strengthening of my belief in my body & the universe.
Visualization especially helped me with manifesting larger breasts, a larger bum, improving PMS, overall well being (as I pictured my body with white light), the shape of my body & more. There are no limits, really.
Having the visual image in your mind and practicing that until it feels somewhat real/familiar, WILL yield results and WILL enhance whatever actions you are taking toward whatever goal you have.
You can use this to help you visualize and focus on what you want.
Thoughts become things, after all.
